포항공과대학교(POSTECH) 수학과는 창의성과 문제해결 능력을 갖춘 글로벌 리더를 양성하고, 세계적 수준의 연구를 수행하여 인류문제의 해결과 산업발전에 기여하고자, 탁월한 교육/연구 역량과 전문성을 갖춘 전임교원(신진 및 중진과학자)을 상시 초빙합니다.

1. 직위: 포항공과대학교 수학과 교수 (조교수 이상, 정년보장 또는 정년트랙)

2. 초빙분야 및 인원: 수학 전 분야 0명

3. 임용예정일: 2024년 하반기 (구체적인 임용시기는 협의/조정 가능)

4. 지원자격

- 사립학교 교원 임용에 결격 사유가 없는 분

- 초빙관련 분야의 박사학위 소지자 또는 이에 동등이상의 자격을 가진 분

- 영어 강의 가능한 분

- 연구소개서 (별도 양식 없음: 연구 활동 및 연구계획 포함)

- 3인 이상의 추천서 (추천인 직접 이메일 발송)

Tenure-track/Tenured Faculty Positions at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)

Faculty Positions Available

The Department of Mathematics at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites applications for several tenure-track/Tenured faculty positions in all areas of Mathematics. The positions are primarily at the Assistant Professor level, but senior candidates with strong credentials will also be considered for higher-level appointments. The positions are open to mathematicians of any nationality who are fluent in English. New faculty members are provided with start-up research funds and competitive benefits packages.

POSTECH was founded in 1986 by the world-leading steel company, POSCO, and is an internationally renowned academic institution dedicated to education and research in science and engineering. Successful candidates are expected to establish strong research programs and to excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

1. Qualification: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a related discipline with an outstanding research record and should be able to teach in English.
